I understood that before to START SLAVE you need to run SET GLOBAL SQL_SLAVE_SKIP_COUNTER=1 and after to START SLAVE.
Yes, but not with GTIDs enabled. The SQL_SLAVE_SKIP_COUNTER is for the “normal” replication without GTIDs.
With GTIDs enabled, you’ll get the following error:
SQL> set global sql_slave_skip_counter=1;
ERROR 1858 (HY000): sql_slave_skip_counter can not be set when the server is running with @@GLOBAL.GTID_MODE = ON. Instead, for each transaction that you want to skip, generate an empty transaction with the same GTID as the transaction

I passed the exam today with 82%. I must admit that this was one of the toughest certification exams i have ever attended. Thank you all for your valuable contribution to the question and answer discussions.
The new pass criteria is 60%.
Out of 100 Questions 55 was new and 45 from these questions.
You must read through the documentation very thoroughly along with MySQL/Oracle Student Guide.

The test consists of 100 questions with required pass percentage of 60. You have 150 minutes to answer the questions. All are multiple choice questions.
There are some unmarked questions included in those 100, but we don’t know which one they are.
