Wot?! Your shiney new system doesn’t have the legacy file /etc/inittab?

Try:

/etc/init/control-alt-delete.conf – for RHEL/CentOS/newer versions of Ubuntu

/etc/event.d/control-alt-delete – for older versions of Ubuntu and maybe others
