B.
They are the same; Advanced Compression is called Hybrid Columnar Compression on Exadata Database
Machine.
C.
Hybrid Columnar Compression is good for tables with active updates and deletes, and provides deeper
compression ratios.
D.
Advanced Compression is good for tables with active updates and deletes, whereas Hybrid Columnar
Compression is best applied to tables or partitions where data is fairly static.
Could be C better?
No Colu. Hybrid compression isn’t recommended for tables with DMLs.
That’s right Igor, Hybrid compression isn’t recommended for tables with DMLs.
It is recommended
that HCC be enabled on tables or partitions with no or infrequent DML operations.
If frequent DML operations are planned on a table or partition, then the Oracle Advanced Compression Option is better suited for such data.
