You can create and run VMs without any NIC. You could try it in your lab.
Answer C is correct
If you have to configure minimum links, zero would not be possible.
Answer is C
The correct answer is C, as explained in the “Data Center Virtualizations Foundation” course provided by VMware.
C is correct
C for Sure
I agree with most of the users; answer is C.
C – Is correct as you can still build a VM with out the adapter being present.
*Test in your Environment*
A question designed to trip you up I think , as the course mentions vswitches needing zero or more uplinks, not the minimum number of vNICS in a guest.
https://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-60/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/vsphere-esxi-vcenter-server-60-networking-guide.pdf certainly doesnt mention a mimumum number.
We need to have at least one Nic to be able to do any kind of configuration, don’t we? If we don’t give a nic, there is no configuration that we can do, don’t we?
What a weird question! You can have VMs with 0 NICs, that’s not an issue. There aren’t that many things you can do without the NIC, but the truth is that you certainly can.
