Could be “D” the correct answer?

Physical networks would cost alot more! Power consumpion, hardware, maintenance, cooling… D is the worst answer of the lot and completely negates the benefits to virtualization.

What they need is the ability to better manage their virtual environment!

Answer is B.

Correct Answer

Correct Answer

It looks like they are asking about the vRealize product.
If you Google that answer, the vRealize page is at the top of the results.
From the vRealize website:
VMware vRealize Suite complements VMware vCloud Suite by extending vRealize cloud management platform capabilities beyond vSphere to address the management of non-vSphere hypervisors, physical infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
This seems to address the “Maintaining and managing of their virtualized network in the datacenter” part of the question.

Also, further down the page vRealize Business seems to address the cost aspect of this question:
vRealize Business
Automated costing, usage metering and service pricing of virtualized infrastructure and services for vSphere environments to help you better manage demand, budget, CapEx and OpEx.

Process of elimination:
Cannot be “B” because those servers are not in use. Hence, they are not costing anything for maintaining them.

Cannot be “D” because that add cost to add and for maintenance.

“A” is out, because they already have a virtualized data center; why would they want to add more virtualized servers?

That leaves us with “B” as the only other logical choice.

Type correction.
I meant to say that it could not be “C instead of B” listed as the 1st. one in my process of elimination.

Never in the history of computing has “Adding More Physical Servers” reduced the operational cost of anything. Are people 100% sure these “correct” answers really are the ones VMware is looking for in this exam?
