Based on the Virtualizations fundamentals Course. The two ways are with a DLR and the VTEP. Any one agree with me??
Question is how to integrate non-virtualized (physical) work load to virtualized (software) – VTEP helps encapsualate egress frames into UDP and Edge helps in bridging to traditional L2. ?? And hence A and B?
Correcting myself – it’s B and C. DLR is run on bridging mode and transport is facilitated by VTEP.
Yes. I with Raj, DLR and VTEP are the correct answers. I confirmed it on the Network Virtualization Fundamentals course.
agreed with the majority above. VTEP and DLR.
DLR and Edge Service Gateway
The way you can communicate to the physical world from VDS is using a Edge Gw (North/South traffic flow), not a DLR (East-West traffic).
VTEP is one of the answers but the other one has to be Edge Services Gw.
It is
Distributed Logical Router.
VXLAN Tunnel Endpoint
