Refer to the Exhibit.
A vSphere 6.x DRS cluster is configured as shown in the Exhibit.
Based on the exhibit, which statement is true?
A.
A virtual machine can be powered on in the Web Resource Pool with a 3 GHz CPU Reservation.
B.
A virtual machine can be powered on in the Web Resource Pool with a 4 GHz CPU Reservation.
C.
A virtual machine can be powered on in the DB Resource Pool with a 3 GHz CPU Reservation.
D.
A virtual machine can be powered on in the DB Resource Pool with a 4 GHz CPU Reservation.
My answer : D
6Ghz – RP PROD
2Ghz fixed to RP WEB
That leaves RP PROD with remaining 4Ghz
2 Ghz is reserved to RP DB but expandable.
That leaves RP PROD with 2 Ghz which can be added to RP DB. That gives RPDB 4 Ghz to power on.
You fail to note there is already a VM in RP DB powered on, so that leaves 3ghz.
However, assuming the 2GHZ reserve has not been fully claimed in RP Web, and it’s just the 1GHZ that has. Then maybe it could be 4ghz…..hmmmmmm cheesey.
Sweaty felching aside, the question begs – does the 1GHZ machine in RP web when powered on mean the entire 2Ghz reserve is active, or just 1Ghz of the available 2Ghz? I would assume, the full 2ghz is reserved as soon as the 1Ghz machine in RP web is powered on, leaving 3ghz…
