An administrator is configuring admission control settings for a vSphere HA cluster. The
administrator selects the option Allow VMs to Be Powered on Even if They Violate
Availability Constraints. Which two events occur during an ESXi host failure? (Choose two.)
A.
HA will not restart virtual machines configured for FT.
B.
Virtual machines with a Low restart priority are not restarted.
C.
Virtual machines with a High restart priority are restarted first.
D.
Virtual machines with VM Monitoring set to Enabled are restarted.
B : not in particular, some might, other might not but not by definition not.
C for sure Ok
D : VM monitoring does not apply to HA failover
So this leaves the second option A, though I’m surprised to see that. Of course the Secondary VM will become the primary. In the lecture manual (vSphere 5/5.1 ICM) on a VM failover condition, first thing what is checked before VMs with HIGH priority are started is to check whether FT secondaries are operational.
