An administrator has View installed in a WAN environment with tunneling enabled using two Security Servers and a load balancer.
What value must be entered in the PCoIP External URL to support PCoIP connections through the Security Server?
A.
The fully qualified external name of the load balancer
B.
The fully qualified external name of the Security Server
C.
The external IP address and port of the Security Server
D.
This field should be left blank when using a load balancer with PCoIP
Looks like it should be A:
http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1036208
See the Note about halfway down.
You are right, but A says externam name, it should be external IP load balancer.
It should be C because the question reads “What value must be entered in the PCoIP External URL to support PCoIP connections through the Security Server”.
it reads “Security server” in singular, not “Security servers” in plural. the loadbalancer does not have to be used.
The external PCoIP URL should always be in “IP address” format, not “nameu format
The answer could also be A, depending on how you interpret the question:
According to http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1036208
The value entered in the External URL field must be the address that View Clients use to connect to the server being configured. If View Clients will be connecting through a load balancer or NAT device, the External URL should be the URL or IP address of the load balancer or NAT device.
Does it ht the Security server first or does it hit the load Balancer first?
