A user attempts to connect to a desktop from outside of the corporate network through a View 5.0 Security Server, but for several seconds sees only a black screen that is followed by an error message from the View Client:
The connection to the remote computer ended.
What is the likely cause of this error?
A.
The Security Server is not configured to accept PCoIP connection remotely.
B.
The External URL for the VMware Security Server is set to an incorrect address.
C.
The VPN connection was not established prior to the user connecting to the View environment.
D.
The External URL for the VMware Security Server is set using an incorrect port.
Wrong. Correct answer is A. Confirmed it from mock VCP5-DT Exam.
If the View Security Server is visible only via VPN connection, user wouldn’t even be able to connect to the security server in the first place, which isn’t the case based on the question.

VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6 (Desktop and Mobility Deployment) – The industry-recognized VCAP6-DTM Deploy certification validates that you know how to deploy and optimize VMware Horizon 6 (with View) environments. It proves that you have the understanding and expertise essential to leverage best practices to provide a scalable and reliable Business Mobility platform for your organization. Some of the subject areas involve: Configuring and managing Horizon View components, configuring cloud pod archituecture, configuring Group Policy settings related to Horizon View, Configuring and optimizing desktop images for Horizon View & Mirage, Configuring and managing App Volumes AppStacks, Configuring desktop pools, Configuring and deploying ThinApp packaged applications, Configuring VMWare Identity Manager, etc.Sebastian’s take on the VCAP6 examination: “In my thoughts and opinions VCAP6 exam is way better experience when compared with VCAP5, the newest exam appears just like VMware HOL. The user interface is straightforward, questions are ordered on the right side of the display, and could be hidden to the side or restored when necessary. My bits of advice to the questions window: if you choose to make it floating, you should know how to restore it back. I ended up shifting it all around because I fail to remember how to recover it back. The two arrows that appeared to be buttons on the top were created to dock the window to right of left. Fonts could be resized, which i think was superior to scrolling up and down the question. The response speed of the whole interface was considerably faster compared to VCAP5.5, and there was no lagging time period experienced when switching from window to window. Something to bear in mind: BACKSPACE key is not working! I think this is beneficial since you don’t reload your test window in error, nevertheless, it can be troublesome at times whenever you type something wrongly and you have to select and press Del to remove. The Desktop and shortcuts were arranged really well, and important applications like web browser or Mirage console are easily launched. There’s a pleasant interface for Remote Desktop Manager where you can find all required RDP connection to servers or desktops without having to type account information. The web browser had all the links in the Favorite Bar. At the time I’m penning this, there is no extra 30 minute extension for Non-Native English speaker at No-Native English country, which is actually a bummer. There are actually thirty-nine question to respond to within the three hours time period, which can be actually quite hard for non-native English speakers just like me. Quite a few questions take time to finish, so it is best to by pass the questions that you can’t respond to, and finish those you are able to. After the 39 questions, you could return to the uncompleted questions should you still have time. Don’t squander a long time on one single question! The exam blue print can be found on my blog site at Szumigalski.com. It is well organized and following it for the exam preparation can help a great deal. Of course, the most beneficial is if you’ll have a lot of practical experience! I’m truly very pleased with the exam experience, although I passed this time by tiny margin, however i know very well what I missed for the exam, discover from the errors and practice harder to familiarise myself with the environment. This credentials will definitely open up your job prospects!”
