I was confusing Enhanced vMotion with EVC (Enhanced vMotion Compatibility)
You were dead wrong. enhanced vmotion combines vmotion and storage vmotion in one operation. you cannot have amd and intel in an evc mode cluster. Your retraction should have been in capital letters
