snap shot wont really help figure out the problem but the question says: “the administrator needs to capture the virtual machine in the state it is in during the evening hours for later analysis.”
To me that would mean A and D I think should be the answers
It seems B and C to me. Since its an intermittent issue, it will be difficult to capture the snapshot while VM is experiencing the issue. So D is not that helpful. By knowing when the loss of VMware tools heartbeat occurred, it could help narrow down the time.
