Which three modifications must be made to the default settings on the alarm definition to satisfy stated requirements?

Click the Exhibit button

ACME Party Supplies Corporation has a requirement to monitor all virtual machines in a vSphere 5 environment for CPU and Memory usage. An administrator configures an alarm in vCenter Server to send an alert when any VM exceeds 65% memory utilization and 75% CPU utilization. The alarm should warn administrators if the virtual machine is within 10% of the defined thresholds. The alarm has been created with the default options shown in exhibit.

Which three modifications must be made to the default settings on the alarm definition to satisfy stated requirements? (Choose three)

A.
Set the VM CPU Usage (%) Alert trigger to 75% and the VM Memory usage (%) Warning trigger to 65%

B.
Set the VM CPU Usage (%) Alert trigger to 75% and the VM Memory Usage (%) Alert trigger to 65%

C.
Set the VM CPU Usage (%) Warning trigger to 65% and the VM Memory usage (%) Warning trigger to 55%

D.
Set the Trigger if all of the conditions are satisfied radio button.

E.
Set the Trigger if any of the conditions are satisfied radio button.

Explanation:
Corrected one of the thresholds to 55% as it seemed logical. I’m still not sure if the question is asking to be warned if either any or all of the threshols must be hit before triggering the warning. I decided to go with all as the question says “is within 10% of the defined thresholds” < Note plural potentially meaning both. Also it means having to change the setting currently in the exibit.

I think B C E make more sense.

I would stick to B C D, the question states “when any VM exceeds 65% memory utilization >>>and<<>>or<<< 75% CPU utilization".

B, C, E
it doesn’t say >>>and<>or<<<

No, doesn’t say ‘OR’ but it >DOES< say 'AND'. B,D,E

B C E – Q asks to warn if within 10% of defined threshold. You would never be warned if you selected D and only one condition (e.g. either Mem or CPU) was within threshold – you would be waiting for the other to go above threshold also until you were issued the warning/alert

I agree with RAY. you will never get warning if you select D. I think B,C and E are the correct answers.

B,C,D on all other examples I’ve seen on this question..
“when any VM exceeds 65% memory utilization and 75% CPU utilization”

Since the question says “when any VM exceeds 65% memory utilization and 75% CPU utilization”, therefore both thresholds must be met which makes the correct answer B, C and D. The “and” between “65 % memory utilization” and “75% CPU utilization” is crystal clear.

My explanation about this

A. Alert triggered not warning.
C wants to set the warning 10% below the alert 75 and 45
E. Set the trigger in ANY… and donĀ“t have to wait for ALL
