Any references? I’ve found no exact explanation but I think that A is wrong. Docs say that you must have local and domain administrator permissions to install vCenter, but it doesn’t mean that only one domain account must have these rights. C&D are correct per the reference vspheremat linked. You cannot add a VitualCenter Server to linked mode until the upgrade to vCenter is complete.
