Actually it A, B and C.

In the Network Dialog you can chnage the Default (E1000) adapter to any of the others….
C depends on the DiskType (VMFS, NFS). If you have NFS you can NOT select anything, with VMFS you can select any of the normal 3 methodes
(Check in real install)

For a “Typical” configuration, verify that you have the following information:
– Virtual machine name and inventory location.
– Location in which to place the virtual machine (cluster, host, resource pool).
– Datastore on which to store the virtual machine’s files. (B)
– Guest operating system and version.
– Parameters for the virtual disk size and provisioning settings. (C)

In addition to the information for a Typical configuration, for a “Custom” configuration, verify that you have
the following information:
– Virtual machine version.
– Number of CPUs and memory size. (D)
– Number of NICs, network to connect to, and network adapter types. (A)
– SCSI controller type.
– Disk type (new disk, existing disk, RDM, or no disk).

See the bottom of page 32 and the top of page 33.

Prerequisites – For a Typical configuration, verify that you have the following information:
* Virtual machine name and inventory location.
* Location in which to place the virtual machine (cluster, host, resource pool).

I agree A C
“Typical” configuration
Datastore on which to store the virtual machine’s files. look! are FILES not disks

It should be A & C.

You get to select the Network Adapter type in Typical Config. And B is incorrect as it says “virtual machine DISKS”, its not only the disks it stored, but all the files consist of vm machine config file(.vmx) Log files (.log)NvRam (*.nvram), etc.

So I agree with shuo.
