An administrator is installing a Windows Server operating system into a virtual machine on an ESXi 5.x host. The virtual machine will use the VMware Paravirtual SCSI (PVSCSI) adapter.
What are two valid considerations for this installation? (Choose two.)
A.
The adapter should be used only with the data virtual disk.
B.
The guest operating system can be any Windows operating system that supports paravirtualization.
C.
The adapter can be used with the operating system and data virtual disk.
D.
The guest operating system must be Windows 2003 or 2008.

Wouldn’t B also be correct since Any windows system that supports paravirualization would be Windows 2003 and 2008 ?
Correct answers are B and C.
As per my understanding , Windows Servers include 2000,2003,2008 but Windows 2000 doesnot support Paravirtual SCSI (at least for boot disk) so i think Ans ‘C’ is wrong and correct Answers are
B and D
D. (as both 2003/2008 support Paravirtual SCSI adapter support)

watch here the answer cannot be D if it contradicts B what a stupidly put question. The below suggests that it can be any windows operating system that SUPPORTS it. so if it supports it then why cant it work???

Ah! I get it now they try to catch you out
The reason B is wrong compared to D is because it says ANY operating system.
~The question however states that an Administrator is installing a windows SERVER OS.
Hence D) is the better answer
D. cannot be correct because it uses the words “must be Windows 2003 or 2008”. This is FALSE.
See http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1010398
The correct answer is B. and C.
D is correct for sure, but can’t find anything about the supported disk.

Technically D is incorrect, regardless of what the documentation says. VMware Paravirtual SCSI (PVSCSI) adapters are supported on Windows Server 2003 R2 and Windows Server 2008 R2 which are not listed in answer D. So despite the fact that D is probably the answer VMWare is looking for, B is really the correct answer.
