The VMware vCenter Server Virtual Appliance (vCSA) offers many features of the Windows application version.
Which of the following features is only available on the Windows application version of vCenter?
A.
Host Profiles
B.
Template and clone customization
C.
Active Directory authentication
D.
IPv6
Answer is D. VCSA does not yet support IPV6. It does support AD authentication.
I agree with Dot the correct answer is D as AD authenication is available with vCSA.
Guys, please read the question and then answer.
You guys are right but question is different so the right answer is ADA (c)
yes it’s D
The question reads:
..IS ONLY Available…
While you are all correct with what you are saying, that isn’t what the question is asking.
By saying the answer is IPv6 you are saying that it IS supported and ONLY supported by Windows.
They seem to be asking a Windows vs Linux question. That would seem to simplify the answer since AD runs on Windows.
AD can run on windows but VC shouldn’t be installed with AD. IPV6 is the only feature from this list that is not supported on vcsa.

vCSA supports AD integration but not AD authentication.
agrees ..most dumped question give answer as C , I’ve just nearly hit the wall with this
vCenter Server Virtual Appliance provides all features as the Windows vCenter Server but does not support the following features:
Microsoft SQL as the database for vCenter.
vCenter Server Linked Mode.
vCenter Server Heartbeat.
IPv6
Vcenter appliance 5.1 (updated 03/04/2013) support ipv6 by static, DHCP and auto.
I am configuring this right now at:

This is another question that makes the VCP 5 certification a joke.
The answer is D. vCenter Appliance supports Active Directory. Therefore, C is correct.

Answer is D. IPv6 is not yet supported with vCSA but is supported in Windows vCenter.
vCenter Server Virtual Appliance does not support IPv6
Although the vCenter Server Virtual Appliance Web console has an option to configure IPv6, vCenter Server Virtual Appliance does not support IPv6 configuration.
Workaround: Do not set or change IPv6 configuration on the vCenter Server Virtual Appliance Web console.
In this case – C&D are both correct. It does not support AD Authenticate (AD integration not authentication) and it does not support IPv6.
