I agree…It should be .vmsd (Snapshot list file) not .vmsn (Memory state of VM). Suspended state file is (.vmss).
(.vmsn) is also Snapshot state file, but the “descriptor” file for each snapshot capturing the state of the VM at a given point in time vice (.vmsd) is the “centralized” for storing info and meta-data about snapshots.

So it should be D instead of E
.lck files are valid for a VM. The question deals with a template.
