Refer to the Exhibit.
An administrator has been tasked with adding a newly installed uplink to vSwitch1.
Based on the exhibit, what is a true statement about this environment?
A.
The server does not have available vSwitches to be assigned to this uplink.
B.
The available uplinks are not compatible with a standard vSwitch.
C.
The host needs a driver installed for the newly installed uplink.
D.
The current uplinks cannot be attached because they are in use by other port groups.
any one care to explain ?
This is purely a guess, but A is wrong, because it is asking for available vSwitches.
I’m guessing that since the question says a newly installed uplink needs to be added to a swtich, and there is no new unassigned uplink in the shot, that C is correct. But then again, B sounds possible, too(?)
If there was a new uplink adapter it would show up under the section “Unclaimed Adapters”, since it does not, it much not be installed correctly… hence C

To make it more easy, the newly installed adapter is not showing up on the exhibit, hence driver has to be installed for it to show up.
If they wanted to exam knowledge and not telepathy, then I would rephrase it to something like
A newly installed uplink Intel adapter….
Then the question really challenges for a true understanding of what is going on….
And the “install a new driver…” Would defiantly match here…
