C should be correct if ES3G is seen as a spelling mistake. Intel CPUs have hyperthreading and so two dual core Intel CPUs will present 8 cpus to vmware. AMD CPUs do not support hyperthreading and so two dual core AMD CPUs will only be seen as 4. The spelling should be corrected in choice C or the question removed.
