the correct answer is C. I have tested this and all it needs is a rescan and the net LUN shows up. Have NOT tested with FC storage…

In the real world the correct answer IS C.
LUNs may be discovered during boot, but that doesn’t mean they cant be discovered by a manual scan after boot.

Definitely C is the answer. When you add a new LUN, you do not need to reboot esxi. It takes a manual rescan. Question is not phrased correctly. Both, B and C are correct depending on a scenario
