Complicated question, as I see that there 2 types SSD and HDD but there is also a “EBS Magnetic” type (but it says that it is “Previous generation HDD”). It is not obvious question.
And there are many options provided for these types:
-General Purpose SSD (GP2)
-Provisioned IOPS SSD (IO1)
-Magnetic
-Throughput Optimized HDD
-Cold HDD (SC1)
A block device is a storage device that moves data in sequences of bytes or bits (blocks). These devices support random access and generally use buffered I/O. Examples include hard disks, CD-ROM drives, and flash drives. A block device can be physically attached to a computer or accessed remotely as if it were physically attached to the computer. Amazon EC2 supports two types of block devices:
Instance store volumes (virtual devices whose underlying hardware is physically attached to the host computer for the instance)
EBS volumes (remote storage devices)
Instance store volumes (virtual devices whose underlying hardware is physically attached to the host computer for the instance)
EBS volumes (remote storage devices)

Effective 1st Jan 2017, I am told that Ephemeral Or Instance Storage has been discontinued by AWS and no more supported. So, if this questions is asked after 1st 2017, in my opinion the answer to this question should be “D” (i.e. – 1), only EBS Volumes.

Agree with Nitin about A being correct.

Sorry for my previous comment, don`t know how to delete it.
