You need to ensure that when users connect to the printer for the first time, the printer driver is installed automatically on their client computer

Your network contains an Active Directory domain named contoso.com. The domain contains three
member servers.
The servers are configured as shown in the following table.

All client computers run Windows 8. All client computers receive updates from Server2.
On Server3, you add a shared printer named Printer1. Printer1 uses a Type 4 driver that is not
included in the Windows 8 installation media.
You need to ensure that when users connect to the printer for the first time, the printer driver is
installed automatically on their client computer.
What should you do?

Still a very tricky question. See previous post from Version v5. It’s stated there that the correct answer is B. -> WSUS.

I’d go with D.
Reason – WSUS is not supported on WS 2008 R2.

I believe the answer is B.

This article addresses Type 4 drivers:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj134171(v=ws.11).aspx

“The print server is no longer a software distribution mechanism. Previous versions of Windows provided a mechanism by which print clients could obtain a driver from the print server.” “Device specific v4 drivers can also be deployed to Windows 8 clients, or downloaded from Windows Update/WSUS in order to provide additional features or capabilities, such as client side rendering when connecting to enhanced Point and Print shares.
