1.Click Start, click Run and type dcpromo, and then click the OK button.

3.On the ‘Operating System Compatibility’ page, click Next.
4.Set default values on the ‘Location for Database, Log Files, and SYSVOL’ page, and then click ext.
5.In the ‘Name the Forest Root Domain’ page, type litware.local and then click Next.

11.Type and confirm the account password, and then click Next on the ‘Directory Services Restore Mode Administrator Password’ page.
12.Click Next on the ‘Summary’ page.
13.Click Finish.
14.Restart the virtual machine.
