You have a custom Microsoft Management Console (MMC) named Console 1 that contains several snapins.
Users use Console1 to manage specific computer settings.
Users report that every time they close Console1, they are prompted to save the MMC.
You need to prevent the prompts to save Console1.
What should you do?
A.
From the Details settings of the MMC file, modify the Authors property.
B.
From the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in. and then click Edit Extensions.
C.
From the File menu, click Options and then modify the console mode.
D.
Horn the Security settings of the MMC file, modify the permissions.

I think its A.
1. Open the customized MMC console.
2. Click File -> Options
3. Change Author Mode to User Mode
4. Check “Don’t save changes to this console”
MrCensus, You just put “Click File -> Options” so the answer is not A since that answer states “From the details”
Ah… this is TRICKY… I did this whilst studying for the exam, now that I have taken it it was a question and I couldn’t remember the steps I took. I just undid it and learned something NEW:
create an MMC (put anything in it) save it to your desktop. open it, it opens naturally in author mode. To change this you have to take it OUT of author mode unto user mode, then kill the save (enable do not save). Now, when you open it NOW, and go to options… they’re NOT THERE. To get to that menu selection you have to right click on it and run as Author. NOW you can go back and clear that check box and even change back to Author mode if you want. SO…. yeah, you’re playing with the console mode so ‘C’ is actually correct. Try it for yourselves on the PC you’re on now. 😀 (Works on Windows 7 same way as it does on Win10.)
