You have set up a new wireless network for one of your prestigious clients.
The director wants to ensure that only certain designated wireless laptops can connect to the new network to
prevent misuse.
What do you need to do?
A.
Use MAC address control
B.
Use IPv4 address control
C.
Use WEP
D.
Use WPA
correct
I think WPA is better than MAC filtering
It is relatively easy to sniff out the filtered MACs and change yours to one of them… and you are in, it sounds strong, but in reality it isn’t
WPA has encryption which makes it harder(as it is already obsolete and you should be using WPA-2 for full security)

(or any other googled post related to MAC filtering vs WPA)
they didnt ask to setup a password for the network, only allow certain laptops to join it. I agree with you about the answer in REAL LIFE SCENARIOS, but here its answer A
Microsoft guess that password is now secure authentication method. I wonder why RADIUS is not present here?
Microsoft wants us to use MAC adress Control .. we know that there are several other ways:) So answer A
