The default policy and privacy settings work for many organizations, but you can edit the default settings
according to the needs of your organization. Sign in to the SharePoint Online Administration Center.
1. Click User Profiles.
2. Under People, click Manage Policies. The user profile policies are displayed.
3. To edit a policy, click the drop-down arrow for the appropriate item, and then click Edit Policy.
Note: Although you cannot delete a policy, you can disable one.
4. When you are finished editing, click OK.
5. Click User Profiles in the quick launch to return to the User Profiles page.
