Drag and Drop Question
You have an Exchange Server 2016 organization. The organization contains two Mailbox servers.
You have a database that is replicated to both servers. The database contains 500 mailboxes. You
add new volumes to the Mailbox servers. You need to move all of the mailbox data to the new
volumes. The solution must meet the following requirements:
– Ensure that multiple copies of the mailbox data are available at all
times.
– Minimize downtime for the mailbox users.
Which three actions should you perform in sequence? To answer, move the appropriate actions
from the list of actions to the answer area and arrange them in the correct order.

-Create a new database
-Create replicated database copies
-Move the mailboxes
Ted, did you pass this and if so, was this page a good help for you?
while I agree with the approach to move the mailboxes to a new database the actual answers available do not give rise to the end result.
To ensure after three steps the mailbox Data is on the new volume the only solution is to move the database.
1. remove copies – because you cannot move when copies are in place.
2. move the database – this command will dismount, move EDB and logs then remount in new location.
3. create copies.
at the end of these three steps the data is on the new drive. I guess the sticking point here is the multiple copies of the data are available at all times. this screams of moving mailboxes to the new DB, but that option is NOT available in the list of answers. so this is a best option from what’s available.
