You have an In-Place Hold that was implemented by running the following command:
New-MailboxSearch –Name “Hold-ProjectX” –SourceMailboxes “User1”.
You are notified that the In-Place Hold is no longer required.
You need to ensure that the mailbox data can be deleted by using retention policies.
Solution: You run Set-MailboxSearch “Hold-ProjectX” –InPlaceHoldEnabled $false.
Does this meet the goal?
A.
Yes
B.
No
Correct.

Strictly speaking, no. There is a second command missing, Remove-MailboxSearch “Hold-ProjectX”, as stated in that link under Remove an In-Place Hold and as you state yourself in your comment in the previous question.
“You need to ensure that the mailbox data can be deleted by using retention policies.”
I reckon this will be done though because you’ve disabled to inPlace hold. It’s just that the searchquery will remain, right?
I think you are right, and with this understanding the wording of the question makes the most sense, so I hereby agree with Yes. 🙂
