You are the network administrator for Alpine Ski House.
Alpine Ski House has a server that runs Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003. The Alpine Ski House network has 10 client computers that run Microsoft Windows XP Professional.
Alpine Ski House has a third-party line-of-business (LOB) application that runs on the server. The LOB application requires a mapped drive to the server. You set up all user accounts in Active Directory to map the required drive to the server. An employee reports that he can access the network but cannot access the LOB application. All of the other employees can use the LOB application. You check the client computer of the employee who is reporting the problem and find that the mapped drive does not appear in Microsoft Windows Explorer. You check the employee’s account settings and find that profile settings are the same for all employees.
You need to ensure the employee can access the LOB application.
What should you do?
A.
Log on as Administrator and map the drive locally on the employee’s computer. Log off, and then have the user log on.
B.
Have the user log on at another computer and map the drive on that computer.
C.
Change the security permissions on the mapped folder to include the Domain Users group.
D.
Give the employee share permissions on the mapped folder.
