Would someone please explain why the answer is “35.” Please break this down in layman’s terms for simple understanding. For example, this is what I understand:
This IP (192.168.30.17) is a “Class C” address, with CIDR / 28. Thus, a total of “28” subnet (masked) bits are turned ON and four bits are turned OFF. {11111111(255).11111111(255).11111111(255).11110000(240)}. Therefore, I believe the subnet mask is 255.255.255.240. I do not understand how the answer is “35.”
