You are the Office 365 administrator for your company.
You must use Windows PowerShell to manage cloud identities in Office 365. You must use a
computer that runs Windows 8 to perform the management tasks.
You need to ensure that the Windows 8 computer has the necessary software installed.
What should you install first?
A.
Microsoft Office 365 Best Practices Analyzer for Windows PowerShell
B.
Windows PowerShell 4.0
C.
Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows
D.
Microsoft Online Services Sign-in Assistant
i think its D
Googled it. It’s A.
Do you have a link that you can post for reference? Also, use Bing next time 🙂
Technically both.
A will tell you that you need D, and install it.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=28177
But it also covers anything else you might miss, so A. is the better answer
win8 already has powershell 2.0 and .net framework 4.0,
what you need is just Online Services Sign-in Assistant ,
So the answer is D
Heres a link detailing Best Practices analyzer. it installs everything, Powershell, Azure, Online
http://blog.ciaops.com/2013/09/office-365-best-practices-analyser-beta.html
The only BPA is for Exchange, not PS. Google A with quotes and only test questions come up. Cloud identities are managed through Azure which requires the Sign-in Assistant.
I say D.
So FixyPoo’s link does suggest its A but i’ve checked the portal and as Dude says can only see BPA for exchange :/….. Must be D
should be D
D
I say D:
“First install the Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant for IT Professionals RTW from the Microsoft Download Center. Then install the Azure Active Directory Module for Windows PowerShell (64-bit version), and click Run to run the installer package.”
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/jj151815.aspx
It is D
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/hh750396.aspx
I think it may be correctly mentioned which is A.
Ref link https://community.office365.com/en-us/w/deploy/office-365-best-practices-analyzer-for-your-pc (The Office 365 Best Practices Analyzer for your PC is an automated tool that tells you whether your PC is ready for Office 365.)
That BPA tool is not available anymore from within O365. When I log in to my O365 portal, go to Tools, that tool is not there anymore. This tool is there –> Check your on-premises Exchange Server with the Office 365 Best Practices Analyzer (beta)
Requires Exchange Server 2013. But that is not the PC tool. After some hunting around I found what I thought was the tool but it didn’t install anything. I think the answer is D
There is no product that is called “Microsoft Office 365 Best Practices Analyzer for Windows PowerShell”
Answer is D!
The answer no doubt is D!
Sure it will be D ..
