You administer Windows 8 Pro client computers in your company network.
You need to configure a backup and recovery solution that meets the following requirements:
– Recovers the system if it doesn’t start.
– Recovers the system if the hard drive fails.
Which two actions should you perform? (Each correctanswer presents part of the solution.
Choose two.)
A.
Turn on File History.
B.
Create a storage space.
C.
Configure system protection.
D.
Create a system repair disk.
E.
Create a system image backup.
C.
Configure system protection.
D.
Create a system repair disk.
Not sure about system repair disk. It is also known as RecoveryDrive. By default, RecoveryDrive is on your hard drive partition and you do not need to create it manually except those cases when you want to save space on HDD by deleting RecoveryDrive partition or to have additional backup of it. Anyway, RecoveryDrive would not help you in case of HDD failure, since it does not backup your data – it’s only a bootable drive, isn’t it? System image backup does recover HDD partitions, so I would say correct answer is C and E.
B and C are correct.
B is the only answer that will help if your hard drive fails (hardware failure)
C could recover your system if it doesn’t start (software failure). Admittedly E would too but would be less useful depending on when you created the image.
