Which warehouse will be used for the component line?

Took the MB6-703 exam few days ago, and PASSED!

MB6-703 exam was not hard, but also not easy to pass. It contains three parts:

1. Manage the supply chain foundation (35–40%)
2. Manage distribution and trade (30–35%)
3. Implement and configure Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 bills of materials module (30–35%)

Some questions on BOMs were not easy to answer, please pay more attention to BOMs. Other questions, like Set up inventory management, Manage customer and vendor trade agreements, Manage sales quotations and Manage commissions were not difficult.

If this check box is selected, material consumption is assigned for the BOM line to the operations resource. The operations resource refers to a production unit, which defines a picking warehouse.
Assigning material consumption to the operations resource is useful, for example, when the BOM version does not refer to a particular site but is valid for all sites. In this situation, you must be able to define a different picking warehouse for each site.
If this check box is cleared, you can enter the picking warehouse in the Warehouse field on the line.
If you do not enter a value in the Warehouse field on the line, Microsoft Dynamics AX uses the picking warehouse from the item master data.
