When I look at BIOS settings, they are stored in the CMOS. BIOS is firmware and cannot be changed without flashing the BIOS. Changing the settings of the BIOS is done in the CMOS. It would seem the correct answer is CMOS. You can argue the point though since we often generically refer to the CMOS and BIOS together. But this is a technical exam right, details matter.
