C – Boot sequence. The Boot sequence is set in the bios to allow the CDROM to be the first boot device. When the system is powered on, after POST it searches for the boot sequence and selects the first boot device.

Outside COMPTIA A+, if the computer supports booting from the USB, you can copy the Operating system in .iso format into a USB drive and boot from it. It makes installation faster.
