Yup your right Leanne, putting your finger on the scanner would be (Identification). Checking the user Database for the ACL would be Authentication and Authorization will open the door.
I have no question about choice D and E. I don’t understand why it is a two-factor authentication? Fingerprint is something you are (it is a single-factor authentication. I agree the correct answer is D, E, F.
The fact you put your finger in the scanner at the door, means you are there, therefore “somewhere you are”, which adds up to “something you are”, your finger. Hence the dual factor authentication.
I see 4 answers here, A, D, E, F. If I have to choose 3, I would go for:
A –> Because you are at the door, and because you use your finger (two factors)
E –> Because you are authenticated
F –> Because the door opens, and that means you are authorized.

The explanation is that your fingerprint is “something you Have” and “something you Are” but they don’t always follow this logic. it’s random as to how they interpret this type of authentication and it burns me up
