Where is a traceoptions?
30 seconds is the default BGP configuration, per http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/erx/erx41x/swconfig-routing-vol2/html/bgp-config7.html; however, there’s no traceoptions output to see what’s actually going on. I’m guessing you’d see timestamp entries for each “BGP RECV message type 4 (KeepAlive) length 19”, and then count the difference in time between them.
