You manage a library with multiple groups of authors working on different projects. The internal
group creates content for internal projects. The Consulting group creates content for multiple
external audiences. The Consulting group has requested to use the Customize Logo feature to
customize content for its external audiences. Both groups have Read permission at the Library
Root (“/”) and Modify permission to their own content folders.
Identify the process that enables the Consulting group to customize its content for external
audiences.
A.
Provide the Consulting group the Modify permission to the publishing styles folder. Provide the
Internal group the Read permission to the publishing styles folder. Instruct the Consulting group to
roll back logo changes after each publishing.
B.
Provide both Internal and consulting groups the Modify permission to the publishing styles
folder to allow both groups to use the Customize Logo feature as necessary.
C.
Duplicate the publishing styles folder and give each group the Modify permission to one of the
folders. Instinct each group to use the appropriate category for customizing as desired.
D.
Give both groups the Modify permission to the folder above the publishing styles folder and the
Read permission to the publishing styles folder allowing both groups to create new categories of
content, which they can customize.
Explanation:
Create Styles
You can create custom styles as needed for any publishing format. To customize the
appearance of any style, you should first make a copy of the publishing project document
that you want to modify. It is not recommended that you customize the standard styles
that ship with the Developer.
When you copy a publishing style in the Library, you can place the copy within the same
folder in the Library, or you can create a new folder and subfolder structure to contain the
customized styles.
