You manage a library of content for an ERP implementation project. The Project Manager has
asked for a status of the content.
Identify the process that will provide the most valuable information about the status of the content.
A.
Create a new View in which you turn off folder organization and filter the view to show only
topics with less than one frame. Compare the number of unrecorded topics with total topics.
Create a chart to show the comparison.
B.
Publish an instructor Manual for the Project Manager using “Publish by State” to publish only
the content that is In the Production state. Publish another Instructor Manual without “Publish by
State” and compare the size of the documents.
C.
Export the outline of content for localization using the .DOC format selecting the outline and all
related documents. Use the resulting file to identify empty bubbles and empty topics to determine
how much work remains.
D.
Export the outline as an ODARC document, import the ODARC file into a business intelligence
tool to create a report displaying the project status in term of author productivity and content
creation timelines.
Explanation:
Export Content
Export, in combination with import, allows you to exchange content between libraries and
database servers and create backup copies of your content. You can export your content
from either the Library or the Outline Editor.
During the export process, all of the selected content is written to a single compressed
archive file with the extension odarc. The archive file also includes the absolute Library
folder structure for each document, as well as information about all links to and from the
documents.
