application that cannot be down for any length of time…this is a feature of Fault Tolerance. Storage vMotion could help if the VM is hosted on the local host disks. If I would have to guess, I would go for answer A.

FT is the only logical answer if the VM cannot be down for “any length of time”. The next best answer would be vmotion, however if the migration would exceed the 2 minutes you are dead until HA reboots the VM, the down tiem would exceed “any length of time” especially if it is a MS VM.
