You have an Exchange Online tenant. User1 reports that they are not able to check their email. Other users can check their email.
You remotely connect to User1’s session.
You need to troubleshoot why the user cannot check his email.
What should you use?
A.
POP Email test
B.
Outlook Connectivity test
C.
Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer
D.
Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer
E.
Outlook Autodiscover test
F.
IMAP Email test
Explanation:
Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer (https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/) can test incoming and outgoing e-mail. https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/
I would have gone with C since other users are able to check their mail. That fact tells me it is a local issue and the RCA wouldn’t be of use. The MCA is downloaded to the users computer and run from there.
I meant I wouldn’t have gone with C and would have gone with D.
Agree with ExchGuy, two different products.

Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer is OLD tool that is not supported in 2012 R2 so forget it. Answer C is correct!
Agree with OriginalPro
This is to be done on the end user’s computer (“You remotely connect to User1’s session”), so the RCA is completely useless. I’d go with Outlook Autodiscover test (there is no such thing as an “Outlook Connectivity test”).
None of the above. I would go with Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Office 365.
