The question is fundamentally wrong, you don’t use IMAP to *send* emails; you use IMAP to read them (and possibly to store sent emails), but you actually send them using SMTP.

If I get this question in the exam I’m *so* going to comment on it…

But it is an Legacy application. Can it handle 993? If not, than it must use 143
